Tana Sachs Copple leads the Family Law Litigation Practice Division at our firm. The firm’s practice in the area of marital and family law includes agreements designed to protect spouses and parents in a contemplated marriage, disputes related to dissolution of marriage, paternity, parental responsibility, time-sharing, child support, spousal support, equitable distribution, domestic violence, and the modification and enforcement of judgements related thereto.
Ms. Copple is bilingual and also represents Spanish speaking clients. For more than 25 years, she has built a reputation as both a tenacious and skillful advocate, and a compassionate advisor providing her clients with sound and practical legal guidance in and out of the courtroom.
Ms. Copple began her legal career in 1997 as a Domestic Violence prosecutor with the Broward County State Attorney’s Office. This early experience, protecting victims of abuse, shaped Ms. Copple's deep commitment to helping families and their children successfully navigate the most difficult challenges and transitions. Protecting the well-being of children is a central concern in every case she handles. Ms. Copple works closely with her clients to develop practical solutions to their family conflicts, providing them guidance and recommendations for strategies that promote productive co-parenting and stability.
Ms. Copple encourages her clients to avoid unnecessary conflicts. By providing her clients with a thorough understanding of their rights and responsibilities under Florida law, it empowers them to make well-informed educated decisions, driven by the facts and evidence in their case, often leading to negotiated settlements. Whether resolving a case through negotiations, mediation, or trial, she is dedicated to securing outcomes that protect her clients’ interests and the best interests of their children.
Ms. Copple earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida in 1992 and received her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University in 1997. She is admitted to practice before the Florida Bar (1997), the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida (2000), and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida (2001).
Ms. Copple is an active member of the Florida Bar and its Family Law Section. She is also a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association. She currently serves on the Circuit Court Process Server Grievance Committee. She has previously served on the Florida Bar Professional Ethics Committee, as well as the Palm Beach County Bar Association’s Continuing Legal Education, Judicial Relations, and Bench-Bar Conference Committees.
Ms. Copple is a lifelong Palm Beach County resident who grew up in Boca Raton, Florida and now resides in Jupiter with her husband and three children. Her practice includes cases in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties.
